Five generations of the York family have made Prescott their home and they’ve been involved with the automobile business since 1958. York Motors has evolved from a small AMC, Volkswagen, Jeep Dealership in downtown Prescott to the present Dodge Chrysler Jeep Dealership on Prescott Lakes Parkway near Prescott’s Gateway Mall. This beautiful building is the realization of a dream Fred York envisioned years ago. They have a unique business that has been recognized for twenty consecutive years by Chrysler with the elite 5-STAR achievement level for excellence.

Fred York retired in 2004 after his son, Toby came on board in 2003. Fred’s daughter, Raigan joined the team in 2006. Together, the York family, strives to carry out their vision to make a difference to their customers, their over 90 employees, and their community. The York family, along with their employees, are active in many local charities. They not only contribute financially, but volunteer their time and services as well.
